1. What is the difference between Caliente and Paradise Lakes?
Both are clothing optional resorts near Tampa but they have distinct personalities. Caliente is a larger, more upscale gated community with a resort and residential component, 5 pools, a full spa and a more luxurious overall feel. Paradise Lakes is a 72 acre resort with a more casual, community-oriented vibe, 4 heated pools, over 100 hotel rooms and a strong events calendar. Both welcome lifestyle couples.
2. Do I have to be naked at a clothing optional resort?
No. Clothing optional means exactly that. It’s completely up to you. Most guests gradually get comfortable going clothing free over time but there is never any pressure to do so. Both Caliente and Paradise Lakes welcome guests at whatever comfort level they arrive with.
